"Choice" portraits

To close off our portrait unit, 7th and 8th graders researched different portrait artists and chose one to re-create. Some chose Margaret Keane's "big-eye" style, some chose the colorful abstract Tomas Fedro, some chose Frida Kahlo, and some chose Andy Warhol. They had a lot of fun working completely independently and doing their own thing, and the results were beautiful:
